"Best Seattle Weddings"

The D.A.R. was the perfect place for our wedding. We had a 1890-1920's inspired wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect for it. The beautiful architecture, the camel back couches, the flocked wallpaper and the arched ballroom was beautiful. And they where amazingly helpful. Tanya met with us several times to show us the space and go over the details. I emailed her many times to check on details and she always got back to me with a friendly email and assured me that everything was taken care of. On the day of the wedding they where amazing. They fluttered around in the background taking care of everything we needed. It was flawless. I will definitely use them again if I ever have another largish event and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding or event.

The house was beautiful, allowing our guests to have space to mill about. I didn't want a one-room reception that would feel claustrophobic. The staff was very ...   professional and did their job extremely well. In the end, I was glad that they were so strict and organized, on the day of our wedding everything was extremely well orchestrated - they really know what they are doing!

We had our wedding reception here on August 4th and had a great experience!  They were so helpful with event coordination and for the price you pay for this venue, you get a lot included (dishes, glasses, silverware, chairs, tables, linens, and more) it saves you a lot in the long run!  And their dishes are not just plain dishes, they use Blue Willow China.  It is a perfect compliment to the time period/decor and makes the table place settings look beautiful.  I wanted a vintage feel to my wedding and this was the perfect place for that.

We had a little over 130 guests and the upstairs room worked well for that number.  Anything over 150 would probably be too crowded.  If you are wedding/reception venue hunting and especially if you are on a budget like me, check this place out!

This was the first venue we looked at and as soon as we walked in the door we knew this was the perfect place for us. We were looking for a venue with history and character. The Rainier House has it all. There is so much included in the price such as table linens, blue willow china, silver and even champagne glasses. The House is so beautiful inside and out that there is really no decorating needed. We bought flowers from Pikes Market and used the tea lights in the house holders. The tables were beautiful! The house manager is easy to work with and since they have wedding celebrations here all year long they can answer all of your questions and let you know what will work and what may not. However, no one is bossing you around, the final decisions on how you want your event to be is up to you...

Our guests were so impressed with the venue. We had a wonderful time and would recommend the Rainier Chapter House to all of our friends!

Thank you Rainier Chapter House for helping us have a fabulous wedding reception!

The DAR Rainier Chapter House is a fantastic venue. It is so full of charm and beauty. I love the white ceilings of the upstairs (which as a photographer makes photos sooooo much easier than many dark rooms that exist in Seattle). It is also so centrally located that it's easy for everyone to arrive and then go on their way afterward. Just a great spot!

Couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. The venue holds a large surprisingly large crowd and is very classic and easy to decorate. The multi leveled building gives the opportunity to have different stages of partying i.e. cocktails and appetizers downstairs with dancing and dining upstairs. Parking isn't ideal but there is a nearby large lot that you can rent out for guests.

This is one of my favorite venues in Seattle. The DAR house is beautiful and elegant and holds many generations of celebratory memories.

This is the perfect wedding venue. Vintage Charm in the middle of Downtown Seattle. The hosts are incredible and the layout of this 100 year old building makes for a fun and unique wedding experience

Upscale venue with tasteful antique furniture and china. Caterers presented food on buffet table so everything looked really good (and it was!). Lovely reproduction of an early 1800s house.

Attended a wedding here. Beautiful venue - felt intimate yet formal and sophisticated!
